planarTECH & IDEATI’s 2AM™ antibacterial face mask is a patent-pending design that employs a unique coating containing a combination of graphene and other carbon nanomaterials. This washable, reusable mask blends comfort with practicality for the wearer.
The graphene and other carbon nanomaterials coating leverages both the antistatic and known antibacterial characteristics of graphene to create a cotton fabric face mask with the following properties:
Antibacterial: The coating has been certified by the Thailand Textile Institute to reduce staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538) and Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922) bacteria by 99.94% within a 24-hour period per AATCC TM 100 (2012) testing standard.
Antistatic: The coating has been tested by the Thailand Textile Institute for electrostatic properties against the BS EN 1149-1:2006 standard. The conductive surface, repels dust, and is effective against PM2.5 particulate matter;
Washable: The cotton fabric mask is washable and reusable at least 10 times without losing its antibacterial or antistatic properties;
Comfort: The graphene coating spreads heat evenly across the mask and also includes a water-repellent inner coating for additional comfort.
