Stream Any Video Feed Directly Into Smart Glasses

Any equipment with an HDMI or DisplayPort output can now stream its video feed straight into the eyepiece of Vuzix smart glasses. The operator sees what the equipment sees, directly in their eyeline, with both hands completely free.

No more looking away. No more holding screens. No more compromise.

The Problem Every Operator Knows

Across medicine, manufacturing, and field operations, skilled professionals are forced to split their attention between their hands-on work and a video screen mounted somewhere else.

Surgeons glance away from the patient to check the endoscope monitor. Inspectors in confined spaces juggle a borescope probe in one hand and a display in the other. QC technicians hunch over microscope screens for hours.

Every time they look away, they lose focus, precision, and time.

The Solution

4Vision places the video feed from any HDMI or DisplayPort device directly into the user's line of sight through Vuzix M400 or M4000 smart glasses. A compact edge computer handles the connection — plug in the video source, put on the glasses, and the feed appears right in front of your eye.

Both hands stay on the job. Eyes stay on the work.

How It Works

1

Connect

Plug the HDMI or DisplayPort output from your equipment into the 4Vision unit — the InHand EC942 edge computer. Endoscopes, microscopes, thermal cameras, borescopes, diagnostic scanners — if it outputs video, it works.

2

Stream

The unit encodes and streams the video feed over local Wi-Fi or optional 4G/5G cellular. Low-latency, high-quality video with no configuration needed.

3

View

Put on the Vuzix smart glasses. The video feed appears directly in your eyeline — a private heads-up display that keeps both hands free for the task at hand.

Who It's For

Vets & Surgeons

View endoscope and ultrasound feeds while both hands stay on the patient. No neck craning, no looking away mid-procedure. Assistants and trainees can simultaneously view the same stream on their own glasses.

Equipment: Endoscopes, ultrasound, dental cameras, otoscopes, surgical microscopes

Industrial Inspectors

View borescope feeds hands-free at height, in confined spaces, or inside machinery. Both hands on the probe, eyes on the image. Dramatically improves safety.

Equipment: Video borescopes, videoscopes, inspection cameras

Manufacturing & QC

View microscope camera output in your eyeline with natural posture. No more hunching over inspection screens examining PCBs, solder joints, and component alignments.

Equipment: HDMI microscope cameras, inspection stations, machine vision systems

Thermal & Electrical Engineers

View thermal camera output while both hands stay free for probes, tools, and safety equipment. Work at height and in confined switchgear rooms safely.

Equipment: Thermal cameras (FLIR, HIKMICRO, Seek Thermal, Fluke)

Film & Broadcast

Monitor camera and gimbal feeds in-eye while walking, framing, and navigating obstacles. Directors and clients can view on their own glasses in real time.

Equipment: Field monitors, gimbal displays, live production feeds

Automotive & Aerospace

View diagnostic and inspection feeds without sliding out from under a vehicle or stepping back from an engine. Both hands stay on tools and components.

Equipment: Diagnostic scanners, engine borescopes, alignment cameras

Drone Operators

View FPV or camera feeds in one eye while maintaining visual line of sight with the aircraft — combining legal compliance with enhanced piloting capability.

Equipment: FPV feeds, ground station monitors, survey cameras

Education & Training

Each student or trainee gets their own heads-up view of the instructor's microscope, endoscope, or demonstration feed. Immersive learning without crowding around a single screen.

Equipment: Lab cameras, teaching microscopes, demonstration equipment
